It is critical that we pass down historical information so the generations can glean from the hits and misses of the past. Pedal steel guitars are one of the most amazing instruments on the planet, yet millions of music enthusiast could not tell you what it is, and have never seen one. I believe that if we collaborate, we can discover many ways to improve the PSG community, raise awareness, and educate the public about pedal steel guitars! This isn't just an Emmons thing, it encompasses ALL manufactures and models. When we all work as a team, the entire community wins! We need more players, diversified genres, and more exposure.
