PRODUCTION CENTER
OUR COMMITMENT
Every order accepted into production is accepted with the intention of completion and delivery.
We recognize that ordering a handcrafted Emmons guitar is both a financial investment and an act of trust. We do not take that responsibility lightly.
We believe transparency is more valuable than speculation.
For that reason, Emmons Guitar Company provides production visibility through this Production Center, direct customer support by phone, and order-specific communication as instruments approach completion.
While we will not issue delivery dates that cannot be confidently supported by current production realities, we remain committed to providing the most accurate information available throughout your guitar's journey.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
Your order remains active within our production system and is progressing toward completion.
The absence of a delivery estimate should not be interpreted as an absence of progress, communication, or commitment to your order.
The purpose of this Production Center is to provide visibility into our manufacturing process, production activity, shipment updates, and supply-chain realities—not speculative delivery projections that may later prove inaccurate.
Simply stated:
✓ We are building guitars.
✓ We are shipping guitars.
✓ We are updating this Production Center.
✓ We are answering our phones.
✓ We are committed to delivering your instrument.
The question is not whether your guitar will be built, the question is when all required materials, fabrication processes, quality control procedures, and supplier deliveries align to allow final completion.
When your instrument reaches the final stages of production and meaningful scheduling information becomes available, our team will contact you directly regarding delivery preparation and final details.
HOW WE BUILD
Every Emmons guitar is handcrafted using hundreds of precision components sourced from specialized suppliers and manufacturing partners.
Because these materials arrive at different times, each instrument progresses independently through multiple stages of fabrication and assembly.
To ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality, many components are produced in manufacturing batches based upon model type. As complete material sets become available, guitars advance into final assembly and delivery.
For this reason, individual orders may occasionally be completed slightly outside the original purchase sequence.
WHAT THIS PRODUCTION CENTER IS
This Production Center exists to provide production visibility to all customers simultaneously.
It allows customers to monitor overall production activity, understand how our manufacturing process operates, and follow delivery progress as
guitars are completed and shipped.
WHAT THIS PRODUCTION CENTER IS NOT
This Production Center is not:
• A guaranteed delivery schedule
• A live fabrication report
• A change-order tracking system
• A real-time production monitor
• A supply-chain status report
• A projection of future completion dates
Production conditions change continually as materials arrive, fabrication is completed, and outside suppliers fulfill orders. Providing speculative delivery estimates too early would likely result in inaccurate information.
Our commitment is to report what we know—not speculate about what we cannot yet know with confidence.
UNDERSTANDING THE QUEUE
The published order list should not be interpreted as a countdown to your guitar.
Many instruments are progressing simultaneously through different stages of manufacturing.
Material availability, fabrication status, supplier fulfillment, and production batching all influence when an individual guitar enters final assembly.
As a result, multiple guitars may advance at different rates while remaining part of the same overall production schedule.
When change orders occur, the order number may be revised, causing a newer number to appear in the published order list.
THANK YOU
Thank you for placing your trust in Emmons Guitar Company.
We recognize that commissioning a handcrafted instrument requires patience, and we appreciate the confidence our customers place in us.
Every guitar accepted into production is accepted with the intention of completion and delivery.
We look forward to the day your Emmons guitar is in your hands.
If you purchased online, you received an automated email confirming your order. Look for the the order number in that receipt. Example: #10498
It would begin with #10 followed by a three digit number.
This serves as a control number and we use it to identify your guitar.
NOTE: Your order number is not the same as the serial number. (Some have asked if they were the same.)
